    Comcast's Technology, Product & Experience organization works at the intersection of media and technology.

    The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards.

    DevOps Practices:
    Provide proof of concepts processes improvements to increase team velocity.
    Assists with tracking performance metrics.
    May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

    BDD and Test Automation Expertise:

    Offer hands-on workshops and tutorials to deepen team members' understanding of writing effective BDD scenarios and implementing test automation frameworks.

    Encourage team members to explore advanced topics such as test data management, scenario refactoring, and integrating BDD with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

    Uplift the skill sets, enabling them to design, develop, and execute high-quality test plans efficiently on RDK stacks while leveraging automation and tooling to detect defects quickly and ensure the reliability of test coverages.


    Tooling and Test Automation Infrastructure:
    Invest in training team members on relevant automation tools and frameworks for test development, execution, and reporting.

    Provide guidance on setting up and maintaining test automation infrastructure, including selecting appropriate tools, configuring environments, and integrating with version control systems.

    Encourage exploration of emerging technologies and trends in test automation to stay ahead of industry standards and continuously improve tooling efficiency and reliability.

    Reliability Engineering and

    Test Coverage Optimization:

    Foster expertise in reliability engineering principles and practices, emphasizing techniques for designing resilient test suites and minimizing false positives/negatives.

    Encourage team members to explore strategies for optimizing test coverage, such as risk-based testing, equivalence partitioning, and prioritizing critical paths.

    Elevate DevOps practices and reduce the time between quality assurance and deployment of the software.

    Offer training in agile methodologies, facilitation techniques, and conflict resolution to enhance teamwork and productivity.

    Encourage participation in cross-functional activities such as joint sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings to foster alignment and shared understanding across teams.


    Encourage team members to pursue certifications, attend conferences, and engage in professional networking to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

    Provide access to resources on fault injection, chaos engineering, and other techniques for testing system resilience and fault tolerance.

    Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and two (2) years of experience in validating video and broadband product architecture utilizing RDK/TDK suite; define and develop test automation using the following: Java J2EE, Jenkins, Tomcat, Python, MySQL, GIT and Maven; and deploy using Agile or Scrum in a DevOps environment
