    ** Public Area Cleaner**

    **Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort**

    This is a full time position with days off being Tuesday and Wednesday. Hours are 12pm - 8:30pm.

    **REPORTS TO:** Director of Housekeeping / Asst. Directors of Housekeeping

    **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**

    Ensure that the pool deck is free of trash at all times

    All windows in public areas are clean on a daily basis

    Lobby is clean and trash removed at all times

    Assist team members when necessary

    **QUALIFICATIONS**

    Previous cleaning experience

    Floor cleaning machine experience a plus

    Ability to lift and carry

    Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally

    Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally

    Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
