    Our team is looking for an experienced Territory Sales Representative for our store in Des Moines, IA. We offer a competitive salary with the opportunity to earn commission and various benefits and perks.

    In Territory Sales, your role combines sales expertise with a commitment to outstanding customer support in a welcoming and approachable manner. You play a pivotal role in assisting clients with industrial, construction, and residential equipment, catering to both our new and loyal customers. By adopting a consultative approach, you actively seek new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships, ensuring our solutions align seamlessly with their specific needs. Your dedication to delivering an outstanding customer experience is evident as you leverage your expertise in Acme Tools' product range, service offerings, and ongoing programs to identify opportunities and craft personalized recommendations. You coordinate appointments to meet clients at their work sites or businesses and conduct informative product demonstrations. Your commitment doesn't stop at the sale; you guide customers through product start-up procedures and follow-up to guarantee their satisfaction, addressing any potential concerns along the way. Additionally, as a Territory Sales team member, you actively participate in events held at the store and manage and maintain a company vehicle and provided technology, all while prioritizing safety measures as you efficiently complete assigned tasks.

    Qualifications include:

    • 2+ years of direct customer service experience, preferably in outside sales
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Prior knowledge or use of tools and equipment
    • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software
    • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
    • The ability to work in-store on Saturdays as business dictates

    Physical requirements include:

    • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Looking at a computer screen for extended periods of time
    • Frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
