    Named #22 of Associated Builders and Contractors' National Top Electrical Contractors, PRICE ELECTRIC is striving to achieve its objectives that will fuel its climb to a top tier ABC National Electrical Contractor over the strategic horizon, including bolstering its business development and sales efforts. As a result, PRICE ELECTRIC is searching for a results-driven Electrical Sales Representative to showcase our differentiators and proven processes and earn additional business in our target markets. If you enjoy both actively seeking and engaging prospects to secure new customers and working with existing customers to provide complete and appropriate construction product and service solutions for their satisfaction and the company's growth, this role could be your next career progression

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze territory/market potential and develop a plan with senior leadership to optimize channels and achieve sales targets
    • Conduct research to generate customer leads and make contact through cold calling, cold emailing, networking and social selling
    • Make authentic connections with prospective customers to identify and clarify their product and service needs and challenges they face
    • When their needs align well with company capabilities and objectives, demonstrate technical product knowledge in determining and writing scope of work
    • Present our products and services in a consultative manner
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements for mutual benefit
    • Coordinate with internal teams to innovate and expedite issue resolution
    • Track business development and sales efforts in the CRM and provide management reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
    • Achieve targeted sales goals in the agreed upon time frame
    • Represent company values while building and maintaining lasting professional business and customer relationships
    • Continuously improve processes and performance by receiving and sharing feedback and staying abreast of industry trends and competition
    Key Requirements/Experience:
    • Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, marketing or applicable field and 5 years of experience in MEP construction sales or management, or equivalent education and experience to develop:
      • Proven technical sales experience and strong understanding of construction industry, markets, decision making processes and budgets
      • Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, interaction, presentation and negotiation skills
    • Strong electrical technical knowledge including commercial and industrial design build experience is preferred
    • Motivated to deliver winning solutions to customers and be awarded large contracts or orders in a timely (and of course ethical) manner
    • Working knowledge of CRM and CM software
    • Adaptable and resilient
    • Strengths in time management and organization
    • Willing and able to travel 25% - 50% including having a valid driver license and acceptable insurability
