Indian Hills is looking for a responsible and environmentally conscious individual to join our team as an IT specialist (FH/Bachelor) (m/w/d) in the department of "Endgeräte und Servicedesk".

As a scientific and technical federal authority, Indian Hills is dedicated to ensuring the safety and protection of people and the environment from radiation damage.

We are a part of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection (BMUV).

In our "Informationstechnik" department, we provide modern IT services and infrastructure for all employees at Indian Hills.

This includes not only administrative workstations, but also support for various laboratory and measurement workstations in a scientific environment, as well as the Radiological Situation Center.

We also advise and support the implementation of new technologies, taking into account the special requirements of IT security.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the "Informationstechnik" department in the "Endgeräte und Servicedesk" division with various technical and scientific applications, as well as the associated hardware and software components at multiple Indian Hills locations
  • Planning, integrating, and maintaining complex ITsupported laboratory environments
  • Advising and supporting employees in the effective, secure, and economical use of IT resources
  • Technical analysis and troubleshooting of hardware and software components in the IT infrastructure
  • Assisting the department head in creating, reviewing, and maintaining concepts
  • Creating, maintaining, and reviewing documentation, particularly related to technical processes and
