We are currently seeking a Locksmith/Metalworker/Industrial Mechanic with qualifications as a Switch Mechanic (m/f/d) for the DB InfraGO AG at our location in Rastatt.

In this interesting and varied role, you will be introduced to the various tasks of a Switch Mechanic during your work and attend various trainings to acquire further theoretical and practical knowledge.

As a Switch Mechanic, you will ensure that the DB's infrastructure is modernized and maintained, always working as part of a team.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical components on switches and signal boxes
  • Independently and reliably carrying out work in your regional area as part of a team
  • Maintaining mechanical indoor and outdoor facilities, with a focus on outdoor work
  • Creating measurement and test protocols, as well as completion reports
  • Receiving highquality work clothing, which will be provided and cleaned for you
  • Participating in our internal qualification program, attending regular training sessions and continuously learning with us
