    Sr. Global Trade Compliance Analyst

    Location: Boston, MA / 100% remote

    Duration: 3+ months Maximum Pay Rate $32.00-$40.00 per hour

    Full Remote Opportunity, candidates can be nationwide


    Summary:
    The main goal of this role is to support the Compliance Manager in maintaining an import/export control structure through operational processes and import/export paperwork. The Senior Global Trade Compliance Analyst oversees all global trade compliance activities on a daily basis, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and policies. Attention to detail is key for investigating information, resolving issues, and implementing process enhancements.

    What You Will Do:

    • Perform regular customs entry audits and request necessary corrections.
    • Handle global assist analysis and value adjustment declarations.
    • Ensure accurate product classification for import/export purposes, including determining tariff codes and export control classifications.
    • Maintain the product parts database and ensure updates across all applicable systems.
    • Analyze trade data, evaluate regulatory changes, and take proactive measures to ensure compliance.
    • Serve as the primary contact for customs brokers, monitoring their performance against KPIs and expectations.

    Skills: To Be Successful You Will Have:

    • 5 years of experience in international trade regulations and import/export laws
    • In-depth knowledge of customs valuation, rules of origin, section 301 tariffs, GRIs, free trade agreements, ADD/CVD, and incoterms.
    • Experience with U.S. and international product classification.
    • Ability to meticulously review documentation and spot discrepancies.
    • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong prioritization skills, able to work autonomously.
    • Proficiency in Oracle, Tableau, ACE, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Understanding of supply chain concepts related to import and export processes.
