- Develops and implements internal IT compliance testing programs with oversight from the management team. This includes conducting application assessments, internal IT controls and compliance reviews, and addressing any identified issues during regulatory inspections or internal assessments.
- Proactively identifies technology risks and devises strategies to reduce risks and align programs with the objectives of the Information Security Program.
- Analyzes and evaluates procedures and proposes enhancements in processes. Shares findings with management and other stakeholders. Participates in annual risk assessment and other compliance activities.
- Regularly enhances the application assessment methodology, processes, and procedures.
- Supports the development and administration of ongoing IT compliance monitoring and governance activities.
- Collaborates with internal business units to assess the effectiveness of IT controls. Works with IT compliance, internal audit, and business partners to define and implement corrective action plans.
- Assists in managing audit requests from vendors, internal and external audit teams, and security teams.
- Provides training to system owners and IT professionals on IT controls and tools. Makes decisions under general supervision and exercises independent judgment when necessary.
- Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or 2-8 years of relevant work experience; 2-5 years of experience in IT security, IT compliance, or IT risk management, with preference given to those from public accounting firms or large organizations with structured risk and compliance processes; Security certification such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT is preferred; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Familiarity with regulatory compliance and controls including SOX, SSAE 16, and ISAE 3402; Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, flowcharting tools like Visio, and advanced Excel skills utilizing pivot tables, formulas, and data processing; Experience with audit tools like Workiva (Wdesk) or AuditBoard is a plus.
