- You will assume responsibility for providing therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services to patients ranging in ages from pediatric through geriatric
- You will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring Policies and Procedures and will be involved in employee selection training and evaluation
- You will share the responsibility of Respiratory education/ training of new and existing staff level employees as well as Blood Gas Lab management
- You will respond to emergencies as a member of the code team, maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies, and develop work schedules and job assignments for subordinate staff
- High School graduate or equivalent; graduation from Respiratory program required
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an acute care facility
- License in Respiratory Care from Nevada Board of Medical Examiners
- NRP required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Nevada Blood Gas Technologist license or General Supervisor license required
- Current RRT certification with the National Board of Respiratory Care required
