    Description

    Network SpecialistCYBER - San Antonio, TX - Full Time

    Network Specialist

    DTSI is looking for a Network Specialist to provide solutions and support for the Air Force Cyber System network. In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team ensuring the smooth operations of global networks and infrastructure in support of Joint Mission Operation Centers (JMOC) and cyber systems.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and deployment of custom solutions for the United States Air Force Missions
    • Engage in customer discussions regarding system performance, maintenance, and enhancement
    • Collaborate with operators and vendors to address network outages and performance issues
    • Assist in identifying product shortcomings and lead team discussions on support strategies
    • Provide Tier 2/3 support for internal development networks
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, operating systems, and infrastructure
    • Configure and maintain network components to enhance reliability and performance
    • Integrate new technologies into both new and existing systems

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Internet Protocol and Telephony Network Engineering and Administration
    • Experience in managing and supporting routers and switches
    • Proficiency in Server Virtualization
    • Ability to lead and collaborate on team initiatives for issue resolution

    Desired Skills

    • Expertise in System Engineering
    • Experience in Project Execution
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems, specifically Confluence

    DoD Security Requirements

    • Must have Top Secret (TS) Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility
    • Hold DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Sec+ce)
