    Position Summary

    Aero Gear is seeking a focused and innovative sales person to manage day-to-day and strategic relationships with key domestic and international customers. The incumbent will be responsible for strategies and customer-facing activities to facilitate expansion of our gear and gearbox assembly product offerings across current and potential customers.

    Essential Functions

    · Establish strategic fit and respond to customer RFQ's for new and/or existing products.

    · Analyze RFQ requirements from customer drawings and specifications and provide pricing support by performing cost analysis and pricing evaluations.

    · Participate in contract review process, including interaction with all support functions as it pertains to the requirements and applicable documents.

    · Process orders for products for factory release by interfacing with technical / engineering teams.

    · Act as customer and escalation support for scheduling and delivery issues.

    · Develop and maintain knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, BOMs and other methods used in the product manufacturing.

    · Domestic and international travel required; up to 20%.

    Competencies

    · Self-directed and highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.

    · Negotiation experience and familiarity with of Long-Term Agreements, preferred.

    · Strong customer-facing communication and persuasion skills.

    · Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team-based environment.

    Experience and Education

    · Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline

    · 5–7 years of relevant experience

    · Aerospace experience preferred

    · Solid Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
