    Description

    Position: GRC Security Risk Specialist

    Prestigious Global Firm is looking for a skilled GRC Security Risk Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various programs within the Security Governance department, providing expert advice on Information Security, and performing essential risk management functions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond to security assessments, questionnaires, and audits promptly
    • Lead technical writing for policies, standards, and communications
    • Assure that IT systems meet cyber security requirements
    • Manage risk, compliance, and assurance processes
    • Act as a subject matter expert for Information Security
    • Oversee the 3rd Party Security Vendor Risk Management program
    • Lead the Security Awareness program
    • Manage GRC technology platforms
    • Evaluate IT programs for compliance with standards

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or five years of IT Security work experience
    • Knowledge of Security frameworks and technologies such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC, SIG
    • Prior experience in the legal industry is a plus
    • Strong technical writing skills
    • Experience managing timelines and being self-directed
    • GRC tool management experience
    • Effective communication skills
    • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
    • Project and time management skills
    • PC skills with Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Familiarity with diverse security tools and capabilities
    • Knowledge of risk management principles
    • Knowledge of security administration and controls
    • Knowledge of encryption, Intrusion Detection, and Prevention technologies
    • Knowledge of web filtering, SPAM prevention, and vulnerability assessment
    • Knowledge of mobile device security and access management

    Preferred Skills:

    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certifications
