What You'll Do

We're in search of a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team. Your main task will be to implement and carry out the AI Governance program across the enterprise.

This involves establishing a consistent set of policies, standards, and practices to facilitate strategic, ethical, and responsible development, deployment, and utilization of artificial intelligence, data, and analytics, all while emphasizing the importance of AI governance.

You'll have the chance to:

Maintain analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) policies and standards
Set up analytics and AI governance roles and responsibilities
Create and update training materials and playbooks for the enterprise and individuals in analytics roles
Produce and maintain documentation and artifacts
Empower and assist governance teams in alignment with the enterprise framework
Ensure coordination and consistency across analytics roles through coaching and training
Drive Analytics/AI governance activities by collaborating with SME's, data analysts, and data scientists
Collaborate with various areas like IT, Risk, Privacy, Compliance, Data Scientists, Data Governance, Data Owners, and Data Analysts to investigate and resolve issues
Provide oversight of policies and standards to assess compliance and maturity across the enterprise
Identify opportunities or challenges with analytics/AI usage and work with others to address them
Partner with business and technology to discover and implement enterprise analytics/AI governance initiatives

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years of professional experience including risk management, machine learning/predictive modeling, and/or IT
Understanding of AI, data and analytics governance, risk management, data quality, and master data management concepts
Effective at collaborating with various stakeholders, including external consultants and vendors, with the ability to influence others without formal authority
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of leadership and simplify complex topics for broader understanding

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
Experience in quantitative modeling
Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and strong technical acumen
Knowledge of metadata management concepts and processes, and a good grasp of database and data structures
Quick to grasp new systems and integration patterns, including cloud platforms
Experience with Data Governance and/or Analytics Governance tools

Salary Range Information

The salary ranges provided represent targeted base salaries. Non-sales roles may be eligible for bonus programs that can significantly increase total compensation beyond base salary based on individual performance.

Actual compensation is determined by geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level, and will be finalized during the offer stage.

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is available to salaried (exempt) employees, offering paid time off for vacation, personal leave, or short-term illness without an accrued time-off bank or fixed number of days.

Job Level
We are open to considering talent at the Senior Data Governance Analyst II level for candidates with the appropriate experience and skills
Work Environments
This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement, blending office and remote work, with a requirement for a minimum of three office days per week in Des Moines, IA
