Description

A successful candidate in this role will be responsible for business planning and forecasting on behalf of one of Armada's clients in the fast casual foodservice space.

Annual budgeting, tracking performance to plan and collaborating with various teams will be necessary to understand total supply chain spend.

In addition, this person will be accountable for identifying pricing issues and ensuring contract pricing adherence at the distributor and restaurant level.

This is a highly analytical role that requires the ability to derive business insights from the compilation and manipulation of large data sets from multiple sources.

General knowledge of financial systems and planning along with the ability to adapt to a continuously changing work environment are essential.

The candidate must be a self-directed problem solver that is able to participate and collaborate with others inside of Armada, as well as with Armada's client and other key network stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Collaborates with Armada's client (procurement, supply chain operations and finance) to develop an annual budget for supply chain spend, along with preparation of monthly financial statements to measure performance to plan.

Tracks actual costs to budget and continuously reforecast based on input from procurement team and month-to-month market conditions.
Leverages a variety of data sources to identify pricing discrepancies between contracts, distributors, restaurants, and restaurant markets.
Analyzes data, performs variance analyses, identifies trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Summarizes findings for key stakeholders in the form of reports, visuals, and presentations.
Completes ad hoc analyses and project support when necessary.
Serves as the main point of contact for Armada's client for all things budget and pricing related.
Improves financial visibility and accountability across all network stakeholders.

Education, Skills, and Technical Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
Minimum - BS/BA Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field
Work Experience
2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance; public accounting experience is preferred.
Supply chain, distribution, procurement, inventory, and/or logistics experience is preferred.
Experience within the restaurant supply chain space is preferred.
Direct experience working with/on behalf of a client is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with annual budgeting and business planning.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
Transaction oriented with detailed understanding of financial process flows.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to clearly communicate findings to all levels within an organization.
