    **Job Description:**

    **Position Description:**

    The Import/Export Warehouse -Coordinator will assist the company in shipping and receiving inventories in international business transactions. They will be working closely with the companys customs brokers, warehouse staff, shipping companies and clients assisting with shipping, receiving and record keeping for domestic and international transactions.

    **Responsibilities/Essential Functions:**

    Track shipments and communicate with clients about the shipments progress

    Driving Fork lift in warehouse

    Deal with quotes from prospective customers

    Responsible for billing

    Make airport runs to attend to customers cargo

    Handle claims with insurance companies if any shipment problems happen to occur.

    Fill out import-export documentation

    Compile carrier and route assignments

    Compute international fees for each shipment and keep track of shipment payments and quotas

    Handle file preparation

    Freight release

    Able to physically work in warehouse

    Ensure that all contract documents are complete and conform to corporate policies and import/export laws

    Must be detailed oriented and a plus is being familiar with ocean and air bills

    Familiar with the legal requirements regarding importing and exporting shipments

    Other duties as needed

    **Experience and Skills:**

    **Qualifications:**

    Minimum high school graduate or GED. Some college preferred.

    Preferable 1-2 year experience

    Forklift certification required

    Accurate Data Entry skills

    Possess excellent customer service skills

    Preferable Knowledge of import and export documents

    Detail Oriented

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Strong math skills

    To respect other employee and team work sprits

    Must possess CA Drivers License and insurance

    Must have a clean driving record

    Must be able to pass extensive background check

    Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

    Basic PC skills
