- Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Dispense medications according to established standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies, and appropriateness of drug and dose.
- Provide medication therapy management and consultation as needed.
- Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians and other support staff in the pharmacy department.
- Maintain accurate records of all controlled substances and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and information on pharmaceutical care and drug therapy.
- Monday-Friday:2:00pm - 11:30pm
- Pharmacy experience.
- LTC experience a plus
- Kentucky pharmacy license.
