- Manage a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums.
- Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and other discovery activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on legal issues and potential risks.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
- Participate in business development activities, including client meetings, presentations, and networking events.
- Stay current on legal developments, case law, and industry trends relevant to litigation practice areas.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation.
- Proven track record of success in handling complex litigation matters.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Business development experience is preferred.
- Experience with e-discovery and litigation technology tools is a plus.
- Competitive salary starting between $150,000 - $180,000 annually, with top 15% earners (after bonus structure payout) earning $250,000+.
