Recognized as the #1 A/E firm by Architectural Record, one of TIME Magazine's Most Influential Firms, and one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies, we are seeking a Knowledge Manager for Healthcare (architecture and design sector), to work directly with firmwide practice leaders to position HOK by leveraging our project experience, thought leadership and experts to win new work that sustains a robust and successful practice.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Working Relationships + Market Positioning + Business Development (50%)

  • Work directly with firmwide market or discipline practice leaders to position HOK in national and international markets by leveragingourprojectexperience,thoughtleadershipandexpertstowinnewworkthatsustainsarobustandsuccessfulpractice.
  • Conductmarketresearchtoensurethepracticesareconversantwithcurrentindustryandbusinessissues,markettrendsand other significant drivers that impact the positioning, winning and delivery of our designservices.
  • Work directly with firmwide communication team to develop external messaging strategies and promote HOK and the healthcare leaders.
  • In collaboration with MBU leaders,strategize,structure,andimplementopportunitiesforclientengagementthatpositionHOKfornew, innovative designcommissions.
  • Create Client Capture Plans in collaboration with firmwide and regional leaders.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and consultants to foster relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Engage and participate in business development initiatives such as external events, industry awards and publicrelations.
  • Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable workpractices.
  • Keeper of Market or Discipline Knowledge (15%)

  • DevelopacomprehensiveanddetailedunderstandingofHOK'scurrentandhistoricportfolioofprojectsandexpertise.
  • Use your knowledge of HOK's market or discipline portfolio to develop themes and imagery that highlight key projects and content for white papers and other research related to industry trends and relevantissues.
  • Create and update market or discipline marketing collateral andresources.
  • Pursuit Development/Securing New Work (30%)

  • Research,identifyandqualifynewleadsfrombothnewandexistingclientsincollaborationwithmarketordisciplineleaders across thefirm.
  • Participate in the evaluation of each project pursuit (go/no-go) with the regionalpractices.
  • Leadregionalmarketingteamstocreate,compellingand high-qualityresponsesforqualification,proposals,and presentations. (Complex efforts may require travel for in-personmeetings).
  • In collaboration with leaders, develop pursuit strategy, craft the appropriate story, and assist in developing content for proposals.
  • In collaboration with leaders, develop interview strategy, voice, and messaging.
  • Developandcuratemarket-specificcontentinresponsetotheclientrequestbasedonindustryknowledgeandbestpractices.
  • AssistintheQA/QCprocesstoensurewell-coordinatedsubmissionsthatcomply withtheclient'sstatedrequirements.
  • Leverage Tools (5%)

  • Use HOK Business Intelligence tools such as Deltek Vantagepoint and HOK Orbit to gather, track and analyze pursuit pipeline intelligence,projectinformation,metrics(win/loss/ROI),andclientrelationshipsthatdrivemarketingandbusinessdevelopment strategy.
  • Required Skills

  • Abilitytocommunicate(writtenandverbal)andcollaboratewithmultipleofficesacrossHOK,includingleadership,industry partners andclients.
  • Exceptionaltimemanagementandorganizationalskills;abilitytoworkefficientlyundermultipledeadlinesandmanagemultiple teams.
  • Must have strong graphic and writing skills and be able to maintain graphic and content qualitystandards.
  • Self-starter and independent worker able to complete tasks efficiently with minimumsupervision.
  • KnowledgeofDeltekVisionorVantagePoint,OpenAsset,CRM,AdobeCreativeSuiteandother marketingsoftwareisaplus.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor'sDegree
  • 5yearsofmarketingexperienceinthe architecture,interiordesign,engineering,construction,orrealestatedevelopment industry .
  • 8to10yearsofexperienceinleadingsuccessfulmarketingandbusinessdevelopmentprogramsfor professionalservices.
  • Ability to work closely with leadership and motivate business development and marketingstaff.
  • OTHER:

  • Overtime may berequired.
  • Fifty percent travel may be required.
  • Thejobdutiesandrequirements for this role maybealteredorsupplemented.
  • Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, education, and location. The typical salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000. Other compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
