    Description

    We're Hiring for a Full-Time Controller in NYC!

    A reputable CPA firm in New York City is seeking an experienced and talented Controller to join their dynamic team.

    We offer a flexible work schedule with a hybrid approach to work.

    Responsibilities:
    • Overseeing all general accounting functions such as GL, A/P, A/R, Payroll, and more
    • Preparing financial reports
    • Assisting in tax return preparation
    • Supervising the accounting team and office staff
    • Contributing to the annual budget preparation
    • Generating ad hoc reports for firm leadership
    • Creating reports that analyze and predict the firm's financial status and business activities
    • Coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Regularly analyzing cash flow and providing reports to management
    • Assisting in the integration of merged firms and monitoring financial performance
    • Collaborating with the CFO on business analysis, software/process enhancements, and KPIs
    Qualifications:
    • Prior experience in a Public Accounting firm
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience
    • CPA license is a plus
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with Power BI and Sage Intact is preferred
