Betterlore is an iGaming brand that brings new online games to the market. In recent years, we have developed the first of these games along with the supporting infrastructure. The company has German roots with locations in Malta and Serbia. The game locations are both in Germany and in the cloud. To further develop our Betterlore brand, we are looking for a specialist in computer science as a system administrator (m/f/d) to expand and support our technical team.

Your tasks:

  • As a system administrator (m/f/d), you will install, configure, and set up clusters of VMs, containers, and services, mostly based on Linux.
  • You ensure appropriate monitoring and ensure that failover scenarios are properly set up and regularly tested to ensure a high level of system availability.
  • In addition, you will take on first-level support and ensure the maintenance of the streaming architecture, including platform services and hardware.
  • You are also responsible for maintaining systems, including patch management, to ensure a high level of security for the systems and networks used by the company.
  • You will also manage the network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Lastly, you will work with the DevOps team to implement automation tools such as Ansible to manage and support the infrastructure used.
