Our client, an international leader in technology in healthcare, is seeking a highly skilled
Accounting Manager
to join their New Jersey location financial team. This position will oversee financial operations within specific divisions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within accounting processes.
The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, implementing financial policies and procedures, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making.
ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day, monthly and annual accounting operations, including balance sheets, income statements, general ledgers, and journal entries
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review
Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS requirements, as well as internal financial policies and procedures
Oversee and manage year-end external audits
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks
Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for the Group Services division
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and optimize efficiency
Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive operational excellence
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
MBA, CPA , or related certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting
Minimum of 3 years of management experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in accounting software, ERP, and advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity
