- Provide technical support on concrete segmental bridge segment fabrication on behalf of the project owner including segment casting, geometry control, and post-tensioning
- Ensure work is completed following plans and specifications and prepare daily written reports of construction activities with narratives that relate work completed to the contract documents
- Verify quantities of unit price work, identify potential extra work issues, review contractor payment requests, and advise potential issues to the Resident Engineer
- Prepare extra work estimates with associated documentation, maintain photographic records of site activities, and fulfill other required tasks
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering
- A Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the home state
- A minimum 4 years of experience inspecting construction work on complex projects with a value of at least $10 million
- Prior experience working on transportation construction projects, specifically cast-in-place or precast segmental bridges
- Certification in ASBI Grouting, PTI Level 1/2 Multistrand and Grouted PT Specialist, and ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade 1 (considered an asset)
- Completed OSHA 30-hour construction safety, fall protection, confined space, and permit-required confined space entry (considered an asset)
- Ability to work collaboratively on a distributed team of engineers, contractors, and field personnel
