Job Summary:
- Electrical Design Standards Engineer opportunities with a client in the Northeastern U.S.
- Hybrid work remote positions collaborating with internal and external engineers, designers, and drafters to support engineering design standards for substation design and construction.

- Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
- Work Hours: 8am to 4pm
- Education: Bachelors

Responsibilities:

Ensure design and construction drawings support a safe environment for company personnel, contractors, and the public
Work closely with external engineering firms, vendors, equipment manufacturers, and consultants to uphold standards
Review manufacturers' drawings for compliance with specifications
Ensure standards and equipment specifications are current and accurate
Review existing materials, components, and design standards for process improvement and cost savings
Perform other standards-related duties as requested or assigned

Qualifications:

BS Degree from an ABET accredited institution (EE, Mechanical, Civil, etc)
Technical knowledge in the power industry preferred (consider experience from oil & gas, heavy industrial, or similar fields)
Experience with relays, controls, and similar is a plus
Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or AutoCAD Electrical is beneficial
Strategically and technically minded with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders

Experience Level: Experienced
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Education: Bachelors (required)
Skills: Substation, Electrical Engineering
