The Wiegand-Glas Group is one of the top 3 container glass manufacturers in Germany and produces over eight million glass containers daily for the beverage and food industry in its four factories in Steinbach am Wald (Bavaria), Ernstthal, Großbreitenbach, and Schleusingen (Thuringia).

Your responsibilities:

  • Assembly, conversion, commissioning, and operation of testing machines, sorting and packaging systems
  • Maintenance and repair of mechatronic systems and equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Review, optimization, and further development of technical processes
  • Identification and resolution of errors, malfunctions, and problems
  • Ensuring quality standards by following prescribed testing methods and tools

Your qualifications:

  • Completed technical vocational training, preferably as a mechatronics technician, electrician, industrial mechanic, locksmith, or equivalent qualification
  • Technical expertise, preferably in the areas of electrical engineering, mechanics, and pneumatics
  • Good computer skills and basic knowledge of control technology
  • Independent, goal-oriented, and solution-oriented work style, high level of commitment, and good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work weekends, on-call shifts, and in shifts
