As part of a direct placement, we are currently seeking a System Architect IT & Remote Services (m/f/d) for our client, a market leader and global partner for future-proof logistic process automation in the areas of warehousing, airports, and parcel services. This position is located in Dortmund.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyze stakeholder needs and user requirements in combination with the technological requirements of Vanderlande's technology standards
  • Support existing customers worldwide in the area of software and logistics services in the warehousing segment
  • Design warehouse management systems using our products and development standards
  • Create the necessary specifications and system elements to map logistics processes in UML 2.0 or BPMN
  • Translate process requirements into efficient system requirements
  • Design and document the system architecture
  • Ability to ask the right technical questions to stakeholders and engineering teams

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in logistics, computer science, automation engineering, or a comparable technical field with a focus on IT
