    Description

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:


    The primary role of the VP of Land is to oversee the divisional land team with the goal of building a pipeline of quality communities within the division.

    The position is a direct report to the Division President with strong relationship to the Regional VP of Land and the National VP of land.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
    New Community Opportunities - Review/Analize
    Area Figures - Budgets
    Development Budgets - Create/Monitor/Adjust
    Site Contractor - Bids/Review/Manage
    In/Out Inspections
    Manage Development Opportuities
    Legal Agreements - Review Site Development Language
    Land Banker - Relationships
    Seller - Relationships
    Site Contractor - Relationships
    VP of Operations - Relationship

    EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
    Minimum three years of minimum related experience.
    Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Finance and Real Estate are preferred)
    Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
    Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners
    Strong attention to detail
    Strong organizational skills and time management skills
    Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
    Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word


    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    The work environment is representative of an office/field setting
    The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
