SUMMARY
This position performs technical duties in the fields of industrial hygiene, safety engineering, environmental protection, and other related duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting industrial hygiene evaluations in manufacturing facilities
- Developing and teaching safety and environmental training sessions
- Serving as an internal safety and environmental consultant to all Oshkosh Corporation locations
- Maintain all industrial hygiene equipment, including maintenance and calibrations
- Assist with gathering and reporting on company injury statistics
- Assist with Oshkosh Corporation Safety and Environmental Compliance Program review
- Perform site visits to improve regulatory compliance and best practices
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental field
- 1plus years of environmental and/or safety experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in environmental regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and interpret data
