SUMMARY
This position performs technical duties in the fields of industrial hygiene, safety engineering, environmental protection, and other related duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting industrial hygiene evaluations in manufacturing facilities
  • Developing and teaching safety and environmental training sessions
  • Serving as an internal safety and environmental consultant to all Oshkosh Corporation locations
  • Maintain all industrial hygiene equipment, including maintenance and calibrations
  • Assist with gathering and reporting on company injury statistics
  • Assist with Oshkosh Corporation Safety and Environmental Compliance Program review
  • Perform site visits to improve regulatory compliance and best practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental field
  • 1plus years of environmental and/or safety experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Background in environmental regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and interpret data
