    This is for people with Manufacturing/Plant Experience

    As a

    Mechanical Product Design Engineer , you will be responsible for creating and improving current and future products.

    The influence you will have on the creation of new products is immense and will require thorough and thoughtful design of a creative individual.

    It is a requirement that you actively collaborate as a part of a fast-paced multidisciplinary team with expertise, passion, and respect always You will be joining a newly formed team at the ground level with incredible future potential.

    This is NOT your typical engineering role, it's a role that requires excellence in mechanical design, an eagerness for learning new things, and ultimately an attitude towards developing world class products that our customers love.


    Participate in the design, analysis, prototyping, assembly, scaling of new product concepts Collaborate with customers, vendors, and outside sources on materials & processes to optimize for manufacturing and assembly As a part of the design team, you will work on the border of risk, actively communicating among your team and customers to establish a design direction, create prototypes, and scale them Brainstorm, iterate, and execute creative ways to electro-mechanically improve the product's performance, usability, economics, and scalability.


    Formal Design:
    Assemble pertinent facts and design performance criteria.
    Define performance attributes i.e., speed, space constraints, etc.
    Interact with controls engineers / integrate controls into designs.
    Complete detailed designs
    Define and procure cost-effective purchased components.
    Define and procure cost-effective fabricated details.
    Contact customers and/or suppliers for pertinent design information.

    Mechanical Materials Procurement:
    Quote and procure purchased components.
    Bid and procure fabrications and machined details.
    Issue orders and coordinate deliveries of mechanical items
    Coordinate, manage and develop supplier base.

    Implementation Roles include/require:
    Coordinate / expedite the delivery of purchased mechanical components.
    Coordinate / assist the assembly of mechanical hardware and assemblies.
    Trouble shoot performance issues.
    Finalize 'as built' documentation.
