- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct reconciliations of various accounts, including Investments, Loans, and Derivatives.
- Monitor and report on the fair value of financial instruments.
- Calculate earnest income and assess gain on sales accurately.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Support financial audits and provide assistance as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting accounting practices.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of Investments, Loans, Mortgage banks, Derivatives, Gain on sales, Fair value, and Calculated earnest income.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
