The AWO Kreisverband Berlin-Mitte e. V. is currently seeking a
Child and Youth Care Worker for the operation of our 1st Women's

Shelter (Brigitte Döcker House) for women and their children affected by violence.

Starting date:
As soon as possible

This is initially a
temporary position until August 31, 2024 to cover for an employee on sick leave, with a
weekly working hours of 30 hours (part-time). Due to conceptual reasons, this position can only be filled by a woman*.

The location is in Treptow Köpenick.

Job description:

Coordination with schools and kindergartens, as well as registering the children
Supervision of children in the playroom and/or outdoor area
Organizing and conducting play and activity programs
Creating support and development plans for children
Parent meetings in collaboration with social workers
Assisting in organizing and conducting group events related to compulsory education and childrelated topics
Assisting in identifying special protection needs
