Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the PI, the engineer will conduct independent research and help technical student supervision. Engineer will technically advise students working on fabrication processes and report routinely to the PI.

Salary & Compensation:

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications:

  • 3 years of engineering experience, including one year of responsible design work; or an equivalent combination of additional education and experience. (required)
  • Deep understanding of advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration processes (required)
  • Deep understanding of related materials properties and their role within the advanced integration platforms (required)
  • Handson experience in cleanroom fabrication, processing, and integration (required)
  • Deep understanding of fundamental theory related to the materials and process that are necessary for advanced packaging (required)
  • Deep understanding of highspeed communication characteristics and limitations, losses, and integration challenges (required)
  • Ability to work in a team as well as lead students to achieve their goals (required)
  • Effective written and verbal communication (required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications, & Professional Affiliations:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
