    Description


    A global renewable developer and owner/operator is looking to bring on a Senior Transmission Planning Engineer to join the team Everyone makes an impact every single day within their sub-groups and teams that support the global organization and mission - making our future safer and more sustainable.

    This position will support the Transmission & Interconnection group, supporting wind, solar, and battery storage projects across the US.
    The Senior Transmission Planning Engineer will be responsible for:
    Performing power system studies (short circuit, load flow, harmonics, arc flash, etc.)
    Performing interconnection studies (feasibility, system impact, etc.) to ensure compliance with interconnection requirements and NERC standards
    Interface with various customers
    Participate in ISO/RTO stakeholder forums
    The Senior Transmission Planning Engineer should have the following qualifications:
    Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree preferred)
    3+ years of Transmission Planning/Interconnection experience
    Expertise in PSSE, TARA, PSCAD, PowerWorld, etc.
