Job Description:
Reside Rentals is seeking a Property Management Property Inspector who will specialize in monitoring the overall condition of our rental properties.
As a rapidly growing residential property management company in Logan, Utah, Reside Rentals strives to deliver outstanding management services to our clients, while providing a fun, innovative, and rewarding environment for our employees.
The successful candidate will work closely in a professional office environment with maintenance, leasing, management, and accounting department employees. This position interacts with these multiple different departments, as well as with property owners and residents.The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assessing maintenance needs and repairs at properties
Evaluating new properties for items that need to be resolved prior to commencing management activities
Completing routine inspections at each property with some minor maintenance tasks, such as:
replacing smoke detector batteries or installing new smoke detectors
replacing burnt out lightbulbs
replacing furnace filters
replacing thermostat batteries
Conducting move-out inspections and comparing condition to move-in reports
Documenting property condition via photographs and/or video
Entering detailed work requests for maintenance personnel to complete
Verifying properties are ready for occupancy
Setting and meeting deadlines for occupancy
Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent
Ability to work during business hours of Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm
Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer months and at least 25-40 hours per week the rest of the year
Construction background or knowledge of common home repairs is helpful, but not necessarily required
Ability to learn new skills quickly with an attention to detail
Ability to think independently and work effectively with minimal direction
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly
Demonstration of self-motivation and initiative on the job
Compensation:
Starting at $17-20/hr DOE
Optional overtime or on-call pay available
401k plan with matching company contribution
