    The RoleOur engineering and product teams are organized around our hubs for community and collaboration. Work anywhere means you can work at home or the office on any given day. Your product hub is based on the primary location of your product. You should live within one timezone of your product hub. Our current product hubs are Pleasanton, Columbus, Boston, NYC, Raleigh, and Toronto.

    We are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer who is eager to build in a dynamic startup environment inside a stable, profitable company.

    Our teams are solving complex problems that impact the speed and effectiveness of the life sciences industry.

    In this role, youll jump right in, develop in rapid sprints, and find quickly that we dont believe in throwaway technology.

    You build it we ship it.

    Front-end Engineers will be directly collaborating with the back-end and design teams to develop and maintain the UI of Veeva's cloud-based applications with modern JavaScript frameworks.

    You should be a team player, a fast learner, and have a drive for excellence. What You'll DoBe part of a dynamic team that is passionate about creating industry-changing, cloud-based applications and platformsSolve real customer problems and experiment with new ideasBuild new features using React, Typescript, and GraphQL for customersWork closely with product and UX to build a world-class productCollaborate with QA engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing coverageContribute to troubleshooting and technical support of the productParticipate in all aspects of the software development life cycleRequirements5+ years of UI development experienceProficiency with JavaScriptES6 experienceExperience working with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React or Vue)Knowledge of unit test frameworks like Jest and React-testing-libraryProficiency with CSS abstraction layers (e.g. SASS, JSS, or preferably Emotion)We are looking for strong mentors with a proven record of making your team betterApplicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States.

    This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
