    Position: Business Development Representative - (Commercial/Mid-Market Central)

    The role of the Business Development Representative (BDR) is pivotal within the Go-To-Market (GTM) team. As a BDR, you will play a strategic role in identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities through a combination of inbound and outbound prospecting techniques. By establishing alignment with the Sales team, you will create a steady flow of opportunities, ensuring a predictable and scalable pipeline for revenue growth and successful business closures.

    Location: Remote position (applicants must reside in CST or EST time zones)

    Summary:

    Key Responsibilities of the BDR role:

    • Prospect, identify, qualify, and nurture sales opportunities using a strategic mix of outbound and inbound methods.
    • Collaborate with the Sales team and leverage insights from key accounts to develop tailored strategies for engagement and account expansion.
    • Work closely with Account Executives to devise account plans that target key customers, enabling deeper penetration and articulation of value propositions at various organizational levels.

    Key Areas of Responsibilities:

    • Convert Marketing Qualified Leads into Sales Opportunities by educating potential buyers on the value of Genesys solutions to address their specific business requirements.
    • Build rapport with prospects and customers through inbound and outbound interactions, guiding them through the sales process and highlighting product features and benefits.
    • Schedule and manage introductory meetings with potential buyers, focusing on expanding relationships within key accounts.
    • Promote Genesys as a leading provider of software and services for communications, collaboration, and customer engagement.
    • Achieve set targets and KPIs, meeting SLAs related to conversion rates, lead response times, and qualification standards.
    • Develop a deep understanding of target buyer personas, pain points, and Genesys product functionalities.

    Desired Qualifications & Skills:

    • Prior experience in outbound prospecting and inside sales, preferably within the IT or Cloud solutions domain.
    • Familiarity with CRM platforms and tools.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
    • Effective time management, organizational skills, and the capability to work independently under tight deadlines.
    • Proficiency in analyzing business opportunities, assessing situations, and utilizing data for decision-making.
    • Ability to gather and leverage data to influence decisions and persuade stakeholders.

    Compensation:

    This role offers a competitive salary within the specified range. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, there may be opportunities for commission or performance-based bonuses.
