Construction specialist with a focus on road construction - Wakarusa, United States - FusionWorks
Description
About us:We are a medium-sized civil engineering company founded in 1991 with over 160 employees and apprentices. Our main areas of focus are controlled pipe jacking, open canal construction, sewer rehabilitation, and pipeline construction.
As a recognized training company, we train skilled and commercial apprentices according to the guidelines of the Chamber of Crafts and Industry and Commerce (IHK) and are partners for the dual study program at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.
We provide on-the-job training, meaning hands-on experience. The important thing is that no one has to jump into the "deep end". Apprentices always have experienced trainers and mentors by their side.
The apprenticeship:Civil engineering technicians carry out various tasks depending on their area of specialization, such as road construction, pipeline construction, canal construction, railway construction, well construction, or special civil engineering. They mainly work in civil engineering companies, but can also find employment in water supply, wastewater management, road and rail transport, municipal building departments, landscaping, and paving.
After completing the two-year apprenticeship as a civil engineering technician, you have the option to add a third year to become a road builder.
