- Retrieve and review medication upon delivery and drop offs when needed.

The Life Skills Professional/Recovery Specialist will provide direct supportive care in a residential treatment setting to approximately 16 men challenged with chronic homelessness and substance abuse.

RHD employees and programs in the City of Philadelphia are required to follow the COVID vaccine mandate. Revised PDPH guidance allows for new hires to be partially vaccinated at the time of hire. This means they have received at least one shot in a two-dose series or a single dose in a one-dose series before beginning in-person shifts. The final dose must be received within 8 weeks of hire (start date). This currently does not include boosters.

Program Summary:New Start II at Jackson Street in Northeast Philadelphia is a long-term residential treatment facility that provides intensive drug and alcohol treatment and mental health support services to chronically homeless males. The program treatment design is an individualized level system, assisting residents in establishing psychosocial supports necessary for independent living. The Recovery Specialist will provide direct supportive care in a residential treatment setting to approximately 16 men challenged with chronic homelessness and substance abuse.
