    Description

    The ***Holiday Inn Metairie New Orleans Airport*** is looking for an energetic, hands-on ***General Manager*** to become part of our team to provide strong leadership and take this beautiful property to the next level Conveniently located in suburban Metairie, this 205-room / 17-suite full-service hotel is centrally positioned between downtown New Orleans business district, the Historic French Quarter, and the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). The General Manager will be responsible for the hotel's profitability through revenue generation, cost control, and developing team members while maintaining the highest quality of guest experience. The successful General Manager will ensure implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations. This person will be responsible for building relationships with key customers and is involved in directing the sales process. The General Manager will receive strong support and direction from ***Integral Hospitality Solutions***, an IHG approved management company. Experience with Holidex and Opera and a minimum 5 years as a Full Service General Manager (IHG preferred). Salary $86,000 - $98,000 plus generous bonus structure based on experience and certifications.

    **Requirements:**

    5 years minimum experience with IHG as a GM

    Experience with Opera / Holidex

    Sales and marketing skills; sales experience a plus

    Accessible at all times by cell phone

    Available to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends

    Represent the hotel in a professional manner in both appearance and actions

    Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

    Attention to detail and great organizational skills

    Financial leadership to manage the hotel's budget

    Ability to train and lead employees with a track record of motivating team members for optimal performance
