Our client is Europe's largest telecommunications provider, offering comprehensive solutions and services for various industries such as automotive, telecommunications, finance, trade, media, energy, manufacturing, as well as the public sector and healthcare.

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking several employees (m/f/d) for the position of Linux Administrator (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

2nd level support for IT infrastructure components
Commissioning, system testing, and operation of Linux systems (HP servers)
Conducting system updates
Rollout of new server hardware and lifecycle management of existing server systems
Processing of orders and change measures in complex system environments
Troubleshooting, problem solving, user management, operational and technical changes

REQUIREMENTS

Master's or diploma degree with relevant professional experience or equivalent knowledge
Minimum of five years of professional experience, including at least three years in IT administration
Linux Professional Institute (LPIC) certificate or equivalent
Experience in planning and installing server hardware
Excellent technical knowledge in the desired area of responsibility, as well as good knowledge of related technologies
Very good German and English skills
