- Statistical Process Control (SPC) – work with the engineering team to measure and control quality during the manufacturing process.
- Data acquisition and manipulation (Excel, SQL)
- Evaluate customer returns with supporting documentation and analysis
- Metrology – support metrology engineering in areas of calibrating instruments, designing tools or systems of measurement, interpreting data, or researching the science of measuring.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement processes, learning and skills development
- Strong team member, able to work well in a team environment
- Enrolled in a 4-year Engineering degree program with at least one year of the degree nearly completed
- Basic understanding of computer programming
- Strong academic standing
- Able to sit for an extended period of time while accessing computer applications.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation needing a high level of attention to detail and timeliness
- Able to wear cleanroom garments and work in a cleanroom environment regularly throughout the workday.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong team member able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Other projects and duties as assigned

Manufacturing Summer Internship Overview
Our Interns are our entry-level talent pipeline for Photronics. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing Semiconductor/Manufacturing industry after graduation. As an intern, you'll experience work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives. Our Summer Internship Program provides students and recent grads with hands-on engineering experience.
Summary of Role
Photronics is seeking a Bachelor of Science candidate intern to be a part of our Manufacturing Engineering team and gain experience working in a High-Tech cleanroom environment. In this internship, you will learn to manage day-to-day operations in a highly automated facility. Photronics manufacturing facility provides support across all shifts.
