Description
On behalf of our client, a renowned company in shipbuilding, we are looking for a Shipbuilding Engineer for the construction of ship equipment.
Your responsibilities
- Design of components and assemblies in the field of equipment
- Creation of specifications, production and workshop drawings
- Integration of different systems and equipment in shipbuilding
- Preparation of detailed designs and overview plans
- Maintenance of parts and equipment lists
- Calculation of weights and centers of gravity
- Coordination with customers, suppliers and internal departments
Your profile
- Completed technical studies in the field of shipbuilding, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in ship equipment is desirable
- Proficient in a common CAD program, preferably Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or Siemens NX
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Structured and independent working style, as well as teamwork and commitment
