DEFINITION:
As a skilled mechanic, your role involves maintaining and repairing various motor vehicles and construction equipment.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
REQUIREMENTS:
TRAINING:
Completion of one year of automotive technology training at a community college or vocational school.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years of experience in maintaining and repairing motor vehicles and construction equipment.
LICENSE:
Must have a valid driver's license in New Jersey.
Applicants may need a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) depending on the vehicles operated.
SALARY: $47,410
