    The B2B Customer Development Specialist role involves collaborating with smaller retailers and distributors to facilitate their shift to our self-service B2B portal. You'll primarily engage with Independent Pet Specialty Stores, small specialty distributors, and international clients. This position is based in our Arlington, TX corporate office and falls under the Petmate eCommerce team.

    To excel in this role, you need to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize task completion, process efficiency, and follow-up. Exceptional customer relations and communication skills are key.

    Major Responsibilities:
    • Boost adoption and usage of our B2B customer portal.
    • Utilize various outreach methods to connect with target customers, including Email Marketing, Phone Calls, and leads from Customer Service team.
    • Establish call & email quotas with daily targets for new account sign-ups.
    • Provide B2B portal training to customers and the sales team as necessary.
    • Offer support to customers utilizing the B2B portal.
    • Cultivate and nurture customer relationships.
    • Implement remarketing strategies to drive sales and order growth.
    • Handle assigned projects effectively.
    Skills and Requirements:
    • Must have a Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Dependable team player.
    • Capable of working autonomously in diverse environments.
    • Strong customer relationship-building abilities.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Basic to Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
    • Valid driver's license, clean driving history, and reliable transportation are necessary.
