- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll records.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports for management, highlighting variances and trends.
- Maintain and update fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze expense and revenue trends and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing financial information and documentation.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Stay up to date with accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise ethical behavior in all financial activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the medical industry is a plus.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- QuickBooks experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail, detail oriented, and a good communicator.
