- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of utility systems in various construction projects.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure the utility systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall project design.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on the progress of the utility systems implementation.
- Conduct feasibility studies for proposed utility systems, considering factors such as cost, sustainability, and project timeline.
- Ensure all utility systems are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with the utility systems during the project lifecycle.
- Implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with the utility systems.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the utility systems are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to utility systems in construction.
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering, specifically within utilities in the construction industry.
- Proven experience with government projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to utility systems in construction.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficiency with engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Project.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
