    **WHAT WE OFFER:**

    Compensation is $21 - $30/hr Based on Experience

    Up to an additional $2/hr Production Bonus

    **JOB SUMMARY:**

    This position is responsible for the procurement of raw materials, and supplies.

    **PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    Run requirement reports from MRP system to determine items to buy.

    Analyze historical purchasing data to determine safety stock levels, re-order points, and most economical order quantity to ensure production has sufficient supply of material at all times.

    Manage supplier disruptions including expediting, substituting, and/or finding alternative source for materials.

    Create part numbers and maintain changes to item master database.

    Determine which supplier will provide best value for parts utilizing national supplier list and other suppliers found in the database and make recommendation to manager.

    Maintain excel spreadsheets to track departmental goals monthly.

    **ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:**

    High school diploma or GED.

    3-5 year supplier facing work experience.

    Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.

    Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

    Demonstrated successful ability to perform accurate work under the pressures of tight schedules.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers.

    **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:**

    Prior purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment

    Prior experience using an MRP/ERP system

    Previous Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and/or Request for Quotation (RFQ) experience.
