Are you interested in vehicles? Then we have the perfect position for you as a Vehicle Logistics Employee (m/f/d) in Downers Grove, IL

Our client works in the automotive service industry for a major vehicle manufacturer.

Located conveniently near the A9, the workplace is easily accessible by car, but there is also access to public transportation.

What you will do:

  • Relocation and transportation of vehicles to process interfaces or storage spaces
  • Scanning of vehicles using handheld scanners and data entry into the logistics system
  • Disassembly and assembly of license plates
  • Vehicle inventory with scanner (license plate, chassis number, mileage, etc.)
  • Application of barcode stickers and issuance of vehicle accompanying documents
  • Visual inspection of delivered vehicles for damages and missing parts

What you bring:

  • You have a valid Class B driver's license and several years of driving experience, as well as a safe driving style (especially with transporters)
  • Ideally, you also have a forklift license
  • You enjoy driving and being outdoors
  • You have a basic technical understanding
  • If necessary, you are also willing to work in 2 shifts
