    Northwest Indiana Lighthouse Charter Schools is currently seeking a Co-Principal for the High School College Prep Campus.

    Responsibilities:

    The Co-Principal will collaborate with all administrative, culture, and academic efforts within the assigned school.

    This individual will be the strategic and tactical leader and collaborate in the following areas:

    • Innovative design and implementation of consistent systems to foster responsive education, positive school culture, and aggressive career exploration
    • Day-to-day responsibility for the overall functioning of the school– ensuring a positive school culture, high quality data driven instruction, the administration of all formative and summative assessments, implementation of required curricula, development of teacher capacity and growth, and development of academic leadership teams
    • Manage and develop culture, academic, counseling, and student & support staff
    • Building and maintaining key parent, community, and board relations connected to the academic success of every scholar
    • Data Analysis - Lead the school team to achieve network goals. ensure timely, continuous and effective use of data for decision making and differentiated programming and instruction.
    • Collaborate with the Co-Principal to ensure a safe and supportive environment aligned to schoolwide culture and climate framework and academic priorities
    • School wide vision
    • MTSS Process
    • Collaboration and implementation of NWILCS developed pathways in alignment with IDOE Graduation Pathway requirements
    • NWILCS Signature Practices
    • Supervision of operations including ensuring full enrollment and recruitment of students, ensuring spending is in line with budget, hiring and firing staff as required
    • Executive Management
    • Before and after school programming related to the overall student HS experience
    • School wide strategic planning

    Required Qualifications:

    • Masters Degree in Education, Education Administration or Teaching
    • 3-5 years of urban teaching and leading in a high school setting
    • A proven track record of closing the achievement gap
    • State Administrative/Teaching certificate
    • Desire to work within an innovative, urban educational program
    • Proven track record of raising scholar achievement scores in an urban environment
    • Data management tools, organizational tools, computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)

    • Serve as a role model for students and staff
