    Manager of Property Accounting

    A leader in the Denver real estate market is looking for a dynamic, hungry Manager of Property Accounting to join their growing team. This opportunity will play a crucial role in helping managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial information for decision-making.

    Responsibilities the Manager of Property Accounting:

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple properties
    • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
    • Provide variance analysis and explanations for financial performance.
    • Oversee month end close for the property accounting group
    • Monthly reconciliations and journal entries
    • Train and mentor a team of 3
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

    Qualifications of the Manager of Property Accounting:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
    • 4-6 years of accounting experience in the real estate industry required
    • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
