    Research Associate in Pediatric Environmental Epidemiology

    Description:
    The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is looking for a Research Associate in the Academic Support Staff. This position requires expertise in Environmental epidemiology, biostatistical analysis, exposure assessment using biomarkers and geospatial datapoints. Previous experience with environmental neuroscience through epidemiologic studies is a plus. Ideal candidates should have 1-2 years of Postdoctoral experience and a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

    • Data analysis of environmental epidemiologic projects
    • Reporting and translating research findings
    • Presentation at scientific meetings

    The successful candidate will collaborate with Dr. Aimin Chen and other researchers in the Philadelphia Regional Center for Children's Environmental Health and Center of Excellence in Environmental Toxicology. The role involves developing an independent research career in environmental epidemiology with a focus on children's environmental health related to various exposures.
